He heard his name called softly; how strangely compelling.  Owen lives deep in the dirt “where the longest roots reach, and the sun don’t shine”.  For him the ocean is strange and forbidding.  Composer Scott Good narrates as Owen conquers his fear to discover marvels in the wide world: sunlight, towns, people and that immense ocean.
